Seal Coating is the process of applying an emulsion over existing pavement in order to protect the asphalt from moisture, ultraviolet oxidation, and other environmental damages. Seal coating also enhances the appearance of the asphalt by creating a darker, uniform color and appearance.
A Slurry Seal is used as preventative maintenance. Because of its preserving and protective qualities, the lifetime of the pavement is drastically extended and leads to lower maintenance costs over the years.
